WHEN & WHERE IS SOME KINDA FESTIVAL?

SomeKinda Festival will take place on Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31, 2025 at Montebello Park in St. Catharines, Ontario.

Festival hours: 1:00PM – 11:00PM
Box Office opens: TBA

Location:
Montebello Park

Train:
Take GO Transit’s Lakeshore West line toward Niagara Falls → get off at St. Catharines GO Station.

Bus:
Hop on Megabus or Flixbus from Union Station to St. Catharines.

Driving + Parking:
Paid parking is available via on-street meters, off-street lots, and parking garages.

All ages are welcome.

Kids aged 12 and under get in free with a ticketed adult.

There will be no re-entry during the festival each day.

This is a cashless event.

Debit and credit cards only. There will be no ATMs on-site.

A designated Accessible Seating Area will be available on-site.

You may bring one refillable plastic water bottle (under 1L) per person.

Free water stations will be available throughout the park.

No professional cameras, detachable lenses, or video recording equipment.

Point-and-shoot cameras and phones are fine.

To help everyone move through quickly and safely, here’s what you can bring:

Permitted Bags:

  • Clear bags (max size: 12” x 6” x 12”)
  • Small clutches (max: 6” x 9”)
  • One-gallon clear Ziploc bags
  • Medically necessary bags & diaper bags

Not Allowed:

  • Backpacks or oversized bags
  • Any bag that isn’t compliant with the sizes above

All bags are subject to search upon entry.

Leave these at home — they’re not allowed onsite:

  • Outside alcohol or beverages
  • Drugs or paraphernalia
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Lawn chairs, coolers, or large umbrellas
  • Airhorns, fireworks, or megaphones
  • Drones, scooters, bikes, skateboards
  • Glass containers or aerosol cans
  • Flyers, stickers, posters, or unauthorized promo
  • Professional camera equipment
  • Laser pointers, noise makers, or projectiles
  • Gang-affiliated or hate-symbol clothing
  • Animals (except service animals)

Bring the vibes — and the essentials:

  • Clear or small bags (see bag policy)

  • Small collapsible umbrellas

  • Sunscreen (non-aerosol)
